Stroke survival chances can be boosted by taking aspirin or warfarin. A study by Aberdeen University has found that the chance of surviving, and recovering, from a stroke can be greatly enhanced. People who were taking aspirin or warfarin prior to having a stroke have been shown to have more positive outcomes.
Not startling or unexpected news! However, the study confirms there are benefits in using warfarin, or aspirin, as a preventative measure for anyone who is at risk of stroke.
