Today Eat On Warfarin has gone live. The first book ‘Warfarin – an easy to follow guide from a patient’s perspective’ has been launched on Amazon and is available in paperback and Kindle.  Our website (mark 1) has also gone live.  Slightly more basic than we had planned for the launch due to a problem with the technical department (aka the lad down the road!) but at least we are up and running.

I am hoping there is enough for people to get their teeth into to begin with.  I have so much more planned for the website to really help people who take Warfarin, or who support someone who does.

Being some distance down the road on my journey to recovery it can sometimes be hard to remember the difficult times when I felt really low and unwell. This is why I am so glad that I have some video recordings and notes and blogs of all the hard times. Not that I specifically wish to remember them but it’s good to be able to look back and see how far I have come - not only in recovery from a stroke, but also working through and managing Antiphospholipid Syndrome, Warfarin and diet.  It’s great that I can now share these with others too and show people they are not alone in their struggles. I look really bad in some of the videos and normally I wouldn’t show them to anybody but I am hoping it may help other people to have the confidence to record their own journeys.  Anyway, we all have down days and it’s about celebrating the up days and being appreciative of them.

So, here's to the start of my journey with fellow Warfarinites.  Happy days
