Holiday Snaps

Made myself a double appointment to see my doctor when I got home. I never knew you could get double appointments, but it's just as well I did.  The doctor spent probably the whole of the first part of the appointment faffing around saying OMG you’ve had a stroke.  Glad we got that cleared up then!!!

So I handed my doc this large envelope containing my 'Holiday Snaps' 

I think to be fair they got my best side. A couple of dodgy eye ball ones but, hey ho, I can’t be perfect all of the time.

So that is what an Acute Ischemic Attack (or Stroke) looks like.  It's the white blob on the right hand side of my head.  That is the blood clot.

I’m still in a state of nothingness really. I’m not sure that the reality of it all has sunk in yet.  All I know is I am exhausted pretty much all of the time.  Maybe I will get out of this sleepy state eventually.

Anyway, I think the doc has had more of a shock than I have.  She said I will receive a letter to go to the Stroke Clinic at the local hospital within the week and they will check me and my medication over.
